Who we are

The Arizona Government Transformation Office was established in 2012 to deliver efficient and effective operations in the state of Arizona. This highly skilled team of professionals are committed to collaboration and coaching to sustain a culture of continuous improvement in the state of Arizona. 

To support this mission, GTO partners with state agencies to coach and train public servants and improve government services through continuous improvement and the application of the Arizona Management System (AMS). AMS is an intentional, results-driven approach for doing the work of state government so that every employee, at every level is empowered to improve the lives of the people we serve through measurable improvement and sustainable progress.

GTO works collaboratively with the governor's office operations team and strategic planning office as well as with continuous improvement agency staff and leadership to solve problems, innovate, improve processes and focus efforts to work toward outcomes that will improve the lives of Arizonans now and in the future.
